Dreaducation

What you'll need
Metal tail comb for parting your sections, clips to hold your hair out of the way, elastics to tie off the ends of your hair to the extension, a couple of mirrors to help with sectioning, a rubber band cutter to cut the elastics for uninstall. Make sure your hair is washed and dried for install day and do not use conditioner as conditioner can cause build up on your extensions.
Installing your Locs
These extensions are just braided in with a 3 strand braid or a ladder braid and are meant to be worn for 6-8 weeks at a time with a good install. Most people use the brick lay method (displayed below) for sectioning so that there are no gaps in your install, also only use square sections for a cleaner install.
Self installs do take a lot of practice and patience to become really good at them but I promise you that it does get easier each time you install! Make sure that you are making them tight enough that won't cause slippage but not too tight that you will get tension bumps. Always make bigger sections in the back of your head and smaller sections on top for even weight distribution. You can also have someone else install these for you if you have a hard time installing by yourself but it does not have to be installed by a professional; you can have your friend, family, significant other, etc. help you with the install!
